Do I get to meet my walker ?

How do I schedule walks each week?

We use Time To Pet, to manage all of our clients and scheduling.  Scheduling happens for the upcoming week, Thurs – Saturday.  Sunday is the grace period day.

Is it the same walker each visit?

Yep you’ll be matched with a long term walker.

Do you need a Key?

Preferred, not required.  Doorman, codes or lock boxes are fine!

How do I pay?

Zelle or Venmo!

Are there other dogs ?

All clients need to walk solo first for an evaluation.  If there is a walking buddy nearby, and they book the same day we may try to match them if it’s a good fit.  Pending: 

  1. A dog meet and greet process, with parent approval.
  2. Never more than 3 in a group.
  3. No buddy walks without parent approval.
  4. Buddy walks are ONLY if they live close by.
  5. Buddies are only if you book the same time windows. 
  6. They have to be a personality match.  
  7. Otherwise it’s solo.

We confirm the schedule on Friday for the upcoming week.  Using Time To Pet. Once you decide the days for the upcoming week, we set the schedule. And bill for that week. We prefer venmo. We also offer monthly billing

We kindly ask 3 walks per week on average to hold your spot.   We are flexible around the holidays and if you need to take a vacation.  

If you book the minimum and cancel, we can move those walks to the next week.  If you are above the minimum, it’s fine to credit those walks. 

New clients are required to do a free meet and greet.   We like to do them inside your place, if you are comfortable with that.  There you will meet your walker, and go over your needs.  This also allows the dog to meet their walker.  If you decide to start with us, we do a follow up e-mail with walker info, policies and proof of insurance.   We need a key handoff, and then you are all set to start on your desired date!

We have a few different walkers, that each have their own route and schedule.  Which means you’ll get the same person for each visit.  

40 min walks have limited availability.  40 min walks may include a buddy.  No more than 3 buddies on a walk.  All buddies are established clients, with recurring service.  All buddies are introduced outside in a netural space before group walks happen.  There is an evaluation period for all clients,  before buddy walks or play groups begin.

After each walk our awesome dog walker will text you to confirm they visited your pup.

We like to allow a grace period of one hour for the walker to arrive for your session. There might be inclement weather or other unanticipated delays. So for example if your session is at 12:00 pm we kindly ask that you allow from 11:30 12:30 for the walker to arrive.

We like to match friendly dogs who live near each other, so they have a walking buddy If that’s ok with the owner.   Maximum walking buddies are 3 in a group. Buddies do not get matched until each walker can do a period of solo walks.  This makes sure they get to know new dog’s personalities, before introducing them to pals.  

We offer a play group, pick up and drop off is included. Pickup is at 10-11:30. Drop off is by 2 pm. Session is at the newport dog park and the time runs 40 min 1 hour. All dogs must be vaccinated. Here is our services page to learn more.
